Yunnengtian ASC instruments capture all-sky imagery and observe cloud parameters. Published sources also describe this equipment as an all-sky imager, automatic cloud cover observation instrument or all-sky camera.

Current models

The ASC200 provides infrared, visible and combined cloud cover. The ASC300 extends observation to cloud height and other macroscopic cloud parameters. The ASC100 is a discontinued predecessor.
